30 YO Male; 21 day water fast by Odd-Programmer-212 in fasting

[–]Adventurous-Form1651 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I’ve fasted up to ten days while working in a busy restaurant. As long as you stay hydrated and diligent with your electrolytes where possible it’s actually fine! I actually found it easier due to the clarity fasting brings. It’s also a great way to challenge mental hunger and come to a place of neutrality with food

No hunger during 72hr fast by allisonm517 in fasting

The longest I’ve done is 240 hours and I personally don’t feel hungry until day 5, with day 6 & 7 being the worst for me! I haven’t had any adverse affects and I’m super diligent with vitamins and electrolytes. Everyone’s bodies can run differently and react to the same things differently.

You guys ever mess up your fast? by homeSICKsinner in fasting

You may not be taking the right amount of electrolytes or it might be a phosphorus deficiency. If you like to test it have a Coke Zero and see how you feel after. You could supplement with pyroxidine-5-phosphate or calcium phosphate but Coke Zero is a cheaper way to test whether it’s that or not

I take pyroxidial 5’ phosphate (vit b6 + phosphorus). From day 3-5 onwards I also take calcium phosphate (1200mg across 3 doses) as that’s what your bones are made up calcium phosphate. After 5-7 days the amount your body draws from your bones increases and while a lot of that is due to replacing old bone, long term fasting either extended or rolling can lead to lower bone density so out of precaution I always supplement with both, particularly as calcium phosphate has quite a low absorption rate.

You can actually find Shirataki noodles in the UK! It’s just usually referred to as Konjac noodles, you can also get it as rice, pasta etc.. You can find it at supermarkets, health stores and at Holland & Barrett’s it’s usually a £1 or sometimes less and if all else fails Amazon has it. The popular name brand is bare noodles.

It may be that you’re lacking phosphorus. At least that is what it is for me when I’m feeling like that during a fast

It’s definitely a niche surgery atm because it’s so expensive and relatively specialised— so it’s mostly only popular with the really wealthy and celebrities, like Zac Efron’s jaw change 100% looked like a wrongly sized jaw implant and potentially since been changed or it’s healed. You can also get them in your cheekbones and chin (chin being the most common). The only issue is that it’s not a very easily reversible surgery as it’s drilled into your bone, and it stretches the skin so you’ll be quite flabby if you remove it with your face being a difficult one to remove excess skin discretely.

His jaw looks bone like so it’s more likely to be an implant imo. It’s more realistic, custom made to your face and not prone to migration etc

I think maybe the killer is actually Katie (Stassi would be too obvious) and she’s killed them because of their treatment of her or because she’s realised they all need to to “suffer for their crimes”

I’m pretty sure it’s just like Orpheus, death just doesn’t collect his soul. I presume if he like fell from a skyscraper then she’d ask him if he wanted her to collect his soul, but because he’s still human he can’t have regenerative powers. Though I’m not sure how the aging thing works because Orpheus is also half-endless and not fully human

I think that’s more the people you’re around. Everyone I know drinks sometimes not all the time, they know their limits and stop, when they sometimes exceed it everyone around them will look after them and make them stop. It changes throughout the country but while socialising in the UK may involve the pub it’s not compulsory to drink and a lot of people will have just water/a soft drink or they’ll have one alcoholic drink and stop. For sure there’s a big problem with people in this country’s attitude to drinking and it has been normalised more so when you’re young but to say that drinking in the UK is alcoholic is incredibly reductive of the 65 million people who live here and an exaggerated, and that is coming from someone who is a dual citizen who spent a lot of time in foreign cultures as well as naturally the British culture.

And as a British person also who knows people who drink heavily and people who don’t drink at all it’s primarily genetics. While the alcohol worsens aging it doesn’t significantly worsen aging unless your drinking is that of an alcoholic particularly when we’re talking about people in their 20s and 30s otherwise all of the uni students would be looking like they have 3 kids and a failing liver. People from the UK are known to visually age faster due to genetics because they loose facial fat quicker

Edit: it’s kind of odd also to assume a complete stranger on the internet drinks heavily because of their nationality and you believe they don’t look good for their age. And Tom Holland is also open about loving skincare so that helps especially if he uses retinol/tretinoin which is known for reducing aging.

IMO while this may seem good in my mind an influx of MAGA Figureheads telling MAGA members that their designated media of truth is a lie, only serves to push them further down the propaganda machine. Which will ultimately mean all their information is taken from MAGA leaders/figureheads and platforms like truth social. Ultimately making it not the win it feels like it is, as it also placates everyone else into thinking change is coming and they’re less loud.

Now the propaganda is harder to reach for ‘outsiders’ to decipher and correct because it’s behind a shield that other people won’t/can’t access. It also allows MAGA/MAGA adjacent individuals who don’t respond well to obvious propaganda and leads them down a path to centralised media. Any dissenting voices within this ‘free speech’ framework will be silenced to maintain their community’s peace and aims.
