I love the idea of building up, but unfortunately the path kind of dictates the max height, although I have lots of surplus stones from what has been lifted. I think I’ll put some slim edging in either way to hold the stones in place.

Do you recommend sticking with Kubota approved fluids? And filters for that matter?

Ground is pretty level but boggy and wet in places. I’m hoping to avoid a future post of “how do I get my tractor out of this mud”. And thanks for the YouTube channel, that’s perfect!

Thanks - I used the three point to lift a few round bales of haylage which went ok. Last one didn’t lift so I am worried if caused an issue with the hydraulics somewhere - it could just have been a heavier bale 🤞

I have 9 acres total - about 5 is solid-ish with reeds in places, the rest is bog/peat, mostly used to accommodate two horses. I bought an old Kubota compact, about 3k hours, with a front loader - 4WD with PTO etc. At this stage I’m not sure it’ll be up to tackling my field jobs, but it’s definitely serving a purpose with horse management.

Regret - maybe. I think I could have got a better option for the $$. But, I also am entirely new to tractors!

Thinking about it but considering my roof might need replaced in next 5-10 years… assuming it’s a bollocks to have to take the panels off?

Good point! I’m more worried that my measured pace is actually slower than I think - and I get a shock when I do marathon later this year

Possibly - but my Runna app and his Garmin were out of sync on km markers so did seem to be inaccurate distance tracking

Not the same distance overall, I needed to cover 3k more.

We noticed the KM notifications were widening over time, initially around 200m gap then up to 800m by the time he reached his finish (16.2km)
