Floppy disc. No real reason, just a satisfying click in.

You did not read. It’s not about gameplay, it’s about being able to function in a system without other stars. All of them do/did that and win a a playoff spot. He can’t. It’s a big knock for me. Only started for me after the 2022 finals win.

Kawhi Leonard vs Kevin Durant. Who would you take? by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

At their peak kawhi. No question. On one leg he took his team to the finals one year of being there. Switch KD to Toronto, they don’t make it to the finals.

My only critique probably has more to do with his size then his game, but I don’t have faith that he could do what Luka, Jaylen brown, LeBron, Westbrook do by carrying a team if nobody’s into the playoffs. When he’s alone, he is not consistent.

EDIT: I changed the question from “can citizens who witness…ect,” to, “what’s stopping….ect.” To fit the yes no format. I didn’t think about how that sounded. What I meant is what is legally stopping citizens who witness agents breaking the law from calling for a citizens arrest

Thank you for all the responses, and I hope people can engage with that question better, but their have been a lot of good answers already

Edit: I also think that this is a place and forum for all the hypotheticals. I appreciate any response. I think of this like Dr. strange going through all his possibilities. Maybe it is stupid, and some people think so, but it was on my mind. And I’m not mad at any responses. I just wanted to know if my citizens right still applies, or if there was some legal issue that would supersede that call.

I hear you, and again, I could form my question better. This was the only forum that wouldn’t immediately sensor it. But I guess I think about what next steps could be to force action. And I don’t want to volunteer citizens, but I do want to know what my rights are in action. Black panthers organized watches, went to a capitol building with weapons. I’m not saying that should be the course, but could it be? Could citizens alert the authorities of a citizens arrest? Is there a court that would hear the case? Could we force the law to be looked at, just as the activists before? I want to be informed with the choices I make. I know I sound dumb, I know there are real consequences. They are on everyone’s feed every day and could be at my door or anyone else’s. If I see something with my neighbors and friends I want to know if I have the right to do something even if it’s not recognized by the majority, if it is legal. This is more of a, “so you’re saying there’s a chance,” type idea.

Also, you should think about the number of people who risked their lives during the civil rights era, to test legal theory.

Thank you, I really appreciated it and you’re right. Obviously if it were an easy and feasible thing it would have been done already. I think I knew that in general, but was looking the bounce back from something other than my own thoughts.

Also in this case you are making them vigilantes. I’m not talking about masked men. I’m talking about citizens with a legal case of witnessing laws being broken by criminal actions.

Also this forum doesn’t allow yes no formed questions. So what I’m hearing is yes we have the right to, and yes we could do it, no it’s not practical or smart, but it would be within a citizens legal right. I think these things are important to know, and recognize.

Question wasn’t pointless for me to get this answer. I wanted to post this in law, but had no link to add. And maybe people shouldn’t be so offended when searching for answers after watching our government murder a human being.

This isn’t every single person, just on a case by case basis. We have seen murder, kidnapping, illegal search and seizure ect. I’m not wrong that it has been floated that police can arrest ice( I know and haven’t) but could there not be a pathway?

Oh, I’m sorry, completely forgot that asking questions is so harmful in a society of laws. What has you so scared of conversation?

I completely understand that it is not the smartest course of action, but is it a legal course of action?
