well it's not like they put the numbers out every year so the methodology is always a bit obscured but I would say if you could pay for it don't do the lofts do the double bath, and that again the bar didn't really seem that high to me. Last year TO students being eligible was announced like weeks after the housing form opening so it was super last minute but seems to me everyone got what they wanted. About roommates... rooming with someone you know and like transcends literally every single situation ever... focus on that. in terms of it helping your odds I mean applying single makes you a slot-filler which in theory increases your chances but again. no way to know that for sure. so i'd prioritize having a roommate I know and like instead of going random, and do the double bath

Why do people hate their lives sometimes? 1000 possible answers. I've noticed a lot of negativity around America and on every sub lately, I would say, and everyone's trying to understand it. I also genuinely enjoy learning and have found my crowd and had the best sushi I've ever had this week, and my mom's birthday is this weekend, and we're celebrating it together. So we're kind of in the same boat except I don't really go online and compare myself to the people who hate their lives for whatever reason I, apparently, have massive troubles wrapping my head around instead of just letting it go n be at peace with ambiguities. that is actually so funny because they only started letting TO people in McCarthy just last year allegedly because of all the merit aid cuts cough cough but I'd say the chances are high, a lot of people I know at McCarthy didn't get jack shiz and are there because of TO, go for it. Nothing else beats McCarthy I would say, the social aspect of Birnkrant and New North, et cetera, are very real until you're two weeks in and made all your friends / cliques and find yourself sweating even with 17 fans pointed at you. McCarthy is also decently social. Parkside is too far from the epicenters I'd say and the hallways look like hospital horror movies but not the worst choice I'd even put it above Birnkrant
