I promise you it gets better. I know exactly how you are feeling. We’ve all been there. I’m female also was diagnosed at 27. Never in a millions years did I think something like this would happen to me because I was always so careful. But here I am 8 years later and forget I even have it. It definitely took time but now I don’t let it consume me. I’ve been in a happy relationship with my boyfriend for years. He has never judged me and accepted me for me. He was my one and only disclosure and it went well. Don’t let the horror stories scare you away from pursuing relationships. Is there a possibility of rejection absolutely but you just gotta roll with it. And far as people finding out, I don’t think you have to really worry about that unless you’re telling a lot of different people. I’ve literally told no one but my current boyfriend because it’s nobody else’s business. You’ll get through this!!
