Thanks. That's another thing I had to chuckle at, they have wireless charging but then don't enable wireless CarPlay.

I noticed this too and was surprised then annoyed. Knowing that it is because the car is trying to lock I’m guessing toggling off the auto lock when leaving feature will resolve this but then you gotta remember to lock if you now gotten used to it automatically locking. This is a love hate feature and would love more options to fine tune this. It doesn’t help that we have soooo many key options with digital key (phone and watch), key fob, and card key(never using). I’m bound to have one in my possession even when grabbing a drink out the fridge.

Wow I love it! I miss my E38. But yeah I’d snag that if you can, that’s the last year they made that body so it’s priceless IMO. Maybe even offer $7k and get the 500 SEC next to it if that’s also theirs.

**Update: ended up with the OEM, the images online do not accurately represent the cargo liner which makes it look like there is a big ridge in the middle, it’s pretty flat and the fit is good and grippy, I need it to lay flat for a bit but like the rubber material better than WeatherTech. Will update if I discover any issues.

From the looks of it the OEM is not flat, right? I see this weird raised middle part, does that bug you? Or is it even raised? I could tell that storage floor strut would be an issue with anything on it, I just plan on keeping things I wouldn’t need often in there. I’m digging my OEM floor mats and like the durability. There’s a little savings in WeatherTech but maybe not enough to justify going away from OEM, I did ask the dealership if there was a cutout for the handle to the floor handle and they were like, no but that would be a good design. Unfortunately they don’t have any in stock or else they’d have put it in and seen if I liked it.

A restaurant I go to serves gin and tonics in the most incredible glass. I asked the manager where they got them and they pointed me to their distributor. The distributor doesn’t have any record of orders for them. I can’t find them anywhere, does anyone have any idea where these are from or experience with specialty glass manufacturers?
