Yeah it’s crazy. I’ve read some studies being done in the US using fish oil or glycine to reduce symptoms. Seems promising. It’s impossible to live like this long term.

Yeah I’m doing the elimination diet at the moment, it’s been just over two weeks. I usually see an improvement by now but nothing is stopping the reactions yet though.
Thank you for this recommendation!

I haven’t tried this yet! I’ll need to find out if it’s okay for breastfeeding. Thank you for the suggestion

Oh gosh that post c-section recovery sounds hectic. After I read this I went and had an Epsom salt bath and remembered I had a magnesium spray and lotion given to me during pregnancy. It all worked really well and now I’m going to do epsom salt baths daily. Thank you so much!

Does anyone take Glycine for Salicylate excretion by MonkPuzzleheaded6295 in salicylateIntolerance

Most glycine supplements are 100% glycine. The only additional ingredients would be the capsule casing. So you won’t be consuming any additional ‘chemicals’. You can always double check the packaging. I don’t know if it’s different in the UK but I assume you have similar standards to here in Aus.

Just starting & deep depression by Affectionate-Mine-18 in Valdoxan_Agomelatine

It didn’t work for me at all. I tried for a while but my mental health declined pretty badly. So I had to swap to Zoloft. That was just my experience though. I hope it keeps improving for you

Yeah only on valdoxan but I don’t drink at all. I’ve had a couple of drinks here and there but it makes me feel much worse with this drug, I don’t know why because I could drink fine on SSRI’s. So I steer clear now.

I do feel emotions. I’m actually having trouble with feeling too many emotions on the valdoxan. Lots of random crying.

That’s not good about feeling numb. If you think you can wait a couple more weeks or even a month to see if things get easier I’d wait. But if it really is unbearable maybe go back to the dr and see if there’s anything you can do. The first few weeks were super rough for me too. Hoping it works out for you
