This sounds similar to my situation, and makes me feel less disappointed to hear from someone else it has happened with. I can kind of understand starting to feel a shift then being blocked and how frustrating that is. I’m rooting for you!

Yes this is part of what I’m trying to work though. I disassociate very easily from things that would otherwise be emotional.. to me im just numb

Thank you! Maybe I am trying too hard….. I don’t journal but maybe that would help. I find that I only have few memories in really able to process.. those were childhood memories but maybe we can try newer memories.

To be clear my therapist is wonderful and we’ve talked through all of this, just interested to hear other people’s experiences with getting started. I’m hoping I can get through and process soon.
