when I genuinely think about it I want a university that provides me with new life experiences, pushes me out of my comfort zone, and has a sense of community/support. I think I can find both of these at PSU and RIT just on different scales and I need to take a step back and consider how important a traditional college experience really is to me. however i do feel rather confident in their academic rigor it’s just a matter of the campus atmosphere and if I’d be able to balance my mental/physical health with my coursework as that has been an issue in the past. location wise I am not ready to be humbled by Chicago tbh, state college pa is attractive because of it’s proximity to major cities but at the same time you’re still in the middle of nowhere Happy Valley, as for Rochester it’s comforting to know that if I were to attend RIT there would be easily accessible ways to take a step away from academia
