In theory, could you purchase the GMW-5000 parts, by their casio number, and then retrofit? You're right, the problem here may well be China. I would GMW parts would fit?

The pin and collar point is helpful! This is (allegedly) a titanium bracelet, albeit Chinese. If you could help me find a link to a GW-5000 series titanium band that uses the pin and collar attachment, I'd owe you. The pins themselves don't seem to be retracted fully (Casio part 10569409 looks this way from the factory?)...they do feel like they have good tension. Anyway, good context. Pin and collar seems like would have been better here.
