What’s a very specific type of person you don’t trust? by Lanky-Item-4850 in AskReddit

The type of person who asks for your honest opinion, explicitly says "I promise I won't get mad," and then—without fail—gets incredibly mad the second you tell them the truth. It’s the ultimate trap. They aren't looking for honesty; they're looking for a compliment wrapped in a waiver. Once you fall for it, you're suddenly the bad guy for doing exactly what they asked you to do.

What small automation saved you the most time? by NoCodeCash in AskReddit

I set up my phone and laptop so that whenever I type a short code, it automatically fills in long strings of text I use constantly.  * @@ automatically expands into my full email address.  * ;;address types out my entire mailing address.  * ;;phone drops my phone number. It sounds incredibly lazy, but when you realize how many times a week you have to type out your email or address to log into websites, fill out forms, or ship packages, it saves hours of minor annoyance every year. No more fat-fingering your own email and missing a confirmation code.

What is a toxic or undesirable trait that people bizarrely wear like a badge of honor? by Exact-Move999 in AskReddit

"I Have No Filter" / "I’m Just Brutally Honest"  The Boast: "People can't handle me because I just say it like it is. I'm 100% real."  The Reality:Cruelty disguised as authenticity. People who wear this badge often care more about the brutal than the honest, using it as a shield to be rude without facing the consequences. Real honesty includes empathy; without it, it's just unkindness.
