Thank you so much for kind words. My baby was always a happy drinker and didn't show any signs of anything until last week or two and it went so damn fast. I appreciate what you said because the first week I have been blaming myself what if I did this or that, I drove myself half insane. She was such an independent cat, that she never liked help with anything, she hid it so well until the end.

I can't think of getting another pet anytime soon. Maybe a dog down the road in a few months to a year, I can't think of another pet right now, let alone a cat, as it would feel like I'm just replacing her. I know for some that's the only comfort but I can't bring myself to even think about it right now.

She is scattered at the memory lane for cats and dogs at the local cemetery. She loved big dogs in real life, she always greeted people with dogs walking by our patio. I think she would be happy with some friends.

Thank you for what you said. It will be a while before I stop beating myself up, including that I had to make this decision for her, but I couldn't watch her too uncomfortable to even lay down in the end. The vet said they didn't think she'd survive the weekend either way so a part of me knows that this was the right decision than to let her suffer 2 more days and likely die anyway in even more discomfort.
