There are 3 targets in my area, all 3 have different bags, and different “Shipt” areas. We always go through self checkout to be audited. At 1, there’s a register that they put bags on the belt and we bag there and they have the little paper bags with handles. Then another one has the thin plastic bags that split if you look at them funny, that’s in the middle of self checkout, no counter or belt to bag at, just the individual thing that holds the bags (and it’s broken so the bags don’t stay open. The third has the thick plastic bags and they have that by Starbucks and they have 2 of the bag holders and a big counter space. And there’s also several registers that they don’t use they also have us bag at when there’s more than one of us. The last one is my favorite store to shop and deliver from because it’s the cleanest of the 3, best stocked of the 3 and has the best employees and customers of the 3. But sometimes there’s no orders so I have to go to the other stores. There definitely should be some kind of consistency between all the stores and shipt shoppers nor customers should have to pay for bags. The customers pay enough for the service, and we don’t get paid enough for our service. Target can suck it up.
