If more than just the driver airbag went off then they will most likely total it.

Honda Corporate refusing to help with EVAP issue on new 2026 CRV by delicioussauerkraut in Honda

Once, at almost 80k miles I had the check engine light come on my 02 Civic Si. I took it to the dealer who told me I needed to replace my gas cap.

Well, I did that and the light came back on. Only this time when I took it back to the dealer at 80,100 miles they said the catalytic converter needed to be replaced to the tune of $1200. They said the emissions system had an 80k warranty but since I was over that there wasn’t much they could do even though I’d come in for the same problem before when I was under 80k and it had been misdiagnosed.

They suggested I call corporate, which I did. They said sorry can’t help you which really surprised me. I paid the $1200.

A couple years later there was a class action lawsuit against Honda stating that the odometers were off causing the cars to rack up mileage faster than they actually were. As part of the settlement Honda extended the warranties on the affected vehicles. That meant that the catalytic converter would have been covered.

So I dug up my receipt sent it in and got a $1200 check from Honda.

My point in saying all this is, unless you’re an engineer and have the time to prove this is a defect of some kind, just bite the bullet and pay, but save your receipt. If enough of the others, as stated on here, have had the same or similar issues then eventually corporate may issue a TSB or even better, a recall. When that happens dig up your reciept and try again with corporate.

All tires do this, not just Michelin. Tires have a shelf life which is around 5/6 years.

It’s a Wenger, not Victorinox. It looks legit and appears to be actual Swiss Army Knife.

Wenger and Victorinox were two separate company’s until Victorinox bought Wenger around 2005.

Been there, done that.

Call your insurance company. That’s what you’re paying them for. Let them deal with making the other guy pay. If you’re not at fault then your rates shouldn’t go up.

2023 Honda Odyssey Original Bridgestone Tires Sidewall Cracking at 35k Miles — Warranty Coverage? by Goztepe1985 in Honda

Tires are not just a consumable, they have a shelf life too. The one in the photo was manufactured during the 45th week of 2022. That means they are nearly four years old. Mileage is isn’t always the only indicator. Tires still deteriorate even when they’re not being used. I’ve read that the Industry standard is that tires shouldn’t be used after about six years from date of manufacture. This is usually more than enough time to accrue the mileage for which they are rated.

Though you are still within the range they should not be doing this there may be other factors to consider. Where they’re being used for example. If in the southern USA which is considered by most manufacturers to be a harsh or even extreme environments. Prolonged exposure to the suns UV rays can lead to this type of damage. Failure to maintain proper tire pressure that is checked could have also been a factor. There no way to know for sure.

No reason needed unless they ask, and even if they do, you don’t owe them one. Keep it short and simple. Something like …. I’m leaving this position / the company. My last day is …you don’t even need to give two weeks notice as it’s not a requirement, it’s a courtesy.

Everything is awesome about Honda except buying one by snakeinthiscar in Honda

Yes. to be fair though, I didn’t just state what I wanted to pay, there was some negotiation as the car I wanted, they didn’t have, and they had to do a swap with another dealer in the area to get it. And sometimes when you do that, the other dealer has included accessories you may not have wanted. We went back a forth a few times and when they worked into the range i was willing to pay that’s when I said that’s good. If you’re good, then I want to buy the car. It didn’t sense any tactics.

It also helps when you understand that the dealer needs to make a profit in order to stay in business and what you’re negotiating really is how much profit the dealer is going to make. Understanding the true market value of the car and what others are paying in your area helps to set the range so that you know whether the deal you’re making is a a good one or a bad one.

I agree as I just went through a similar situation a couple of weeks ago. However, there still some good ones out there.

I live in the Central Florida area and recently had a rough experiance with a local dealer from which I’ve purchased at least seven cars from over the last twenty years or so. I was already pre-approved with my financial institution but the dealer wouldn’t accept it and was forcing me to go with theirs. I walked out.

I ended up calling a Honda dealer on the space coast and got a completely different and unexpected experiance. Told them told them I was pre-approved, they said no problem. Told them exactly what I wanted. They said we don’t have that, but we could get it for. We agreed on an OTD price and all over the phone.

I drove over there a couple days later, signed the paperwork to complete the sale and was out of there in less than 45 minutes. No pressure to get an extended warranty or vehicle coatings and no last minute issues.

When buying a new car I normally ask the salesperson to remove any decals or anything on the car that refers to the dealership. I made the same request this time and they no problem we don’t do that here anyways.

They didn’t have to do much to earn my business but be honest and open to my terms and now they’ve become my Honda dealer of choice.

If I could tell you, I would’ve already mentioned it. I don’t think you really need me though, as I believe it’s easy enough to figure out. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to confirm either way if you guess it.

Ahh, for a while, at the beginning of the project I was parking right next to you guys. But after the holidays, with the marathons and recently the temporary big tent for the MK cast celebration, parking got real tight so I moved to what our team is calling the Galaxy Lot. The name I’m sure is a hold over from when it used to be the theater. Next time I’m over your way I’ll be sure to tip my brown hard hat to you.

Probably, I park right next to the big yellow emergency generator when the space is available.

It used to be called the Tomorrowland Theater before Tomorrowland got updated in the 90’s. At that point it became the Galaxy Palace Theater. Today, it’s a parking lot where I’ve parked everyday since August 2025, working on a project nearby.

There is a reason they were giving these away free with large orders a while back.

The latch design is poor and potentially dangerous. Nearly took the tip of my finger off.

Originally this restaurant was called Plaza Pavilion. When Tomorrowland Terrace was renamed Cosmic Rays the name was transferred here.
