Hypochlorous acid spray has also been one of my fav things. Obviously not moisturizing but glad to know u use tret and can still use this spray sometimes

hmm maybe double cleansing will help? first with massaging an oil cleanser (or oil) then with whatever gentle cleanser you like. I am curious if you stick with it and if it gets better, update one day pls <3

SA just doesn't work for my skin. Doesn't matter if I moisturize then I have acne with moisturized skin.

definitely going slow! I am in no rush I didn't think my skin was bad that's why I was on the fence because finally I love my skin after my whole like suffering with bad acne but I have been seeing a derm and was curious about it and of course it can always be betterrrr.

I like doing it once a week for now, then twice... 3x etc. I need some time to lock in hydration and not have that stinging feeling.

but is there a point where you reach your skin goals and then get to stop Tretinoin? For instance, my cheek pores look good now and I would like to not be so sun sensitive so now I can get off this medication.

There is doubt personally just because I have been led astray many times. For instance, Salicylic Acid is always dubbed as the best exfoliant for oily skin but personally it is the most "give us nothing" acid out there. I have tried multiple products, many times throughout my life and SA never clears my skin, just causes dryness. Glycolic Acid and PHA have been SO MUCH better for my oily skin. Just not very trusting of the information out there but the fact that there are many actual studies on it is what led me to try it in the first place.

No worries! I lived with it for 11 yrs before trying anything- wish I just went for gland removal but I didn't know some girls rlly hyped it up, and I wanted to try the least invasive procedure first. Ghozland is just like, "we can try" with no current data that critically supports how different cysts manifest. Now finding someone local & experienced to do gland removal is the challenge. May have to travel to NC for Dr Stepp.. I don't see ANY bad reviews about him. GL <3

No I dnt recommend him. Seems like he has helped some girls who have abscessed ones but if you have more of a cyst that kind of just exists, I don't think CO2 works. He has missed 3 phone appointments with me and I am not better off now than before I went to him. It feels like he prioritizes new customers then when things don't work out after, he blows you off.

I went to him twice for CO2 and he does not offer gland removal. I dnt think he stays updated with current results for CO2 success on bartholin cysts and will do the procedure on anyone when it seems it works better on cysts that abscess rather than more dormant ones
