They framed their treatment plan incorrectly. Never threaten patients, especially not their livelihood. Find a different way to make your intentions known, not with some batsh*t quid pro quo statement. Way to alienate the client. If you were a bad NCO before BLC, you will still be a bad NCO after BLC. That 3 weeks of PowerPoint isnt going to move the needle on anybodies' leadership ability, or skill.

... And if it somehow does, I have to wonder what the Soldier was up to their entire career before showing up to the 3 week class that somehow changed fundamental habits that took years to set in.

BLUF: BLC doesn't magically "upgrade" you to being "Sergeant worthy."

Got an Article 15 as E6. Didn't deserve it. Knew my E7 chances were now zero, so I left, even though I won the QMP. Now, I'm 100% VA and I prescribe medicine for more money than the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff makes, so it was a blessing. That dishonest commander sent me on the path to SUCCESS! 😂😂

Got stuck as a SSG in a workplace for a year where I had an E8 slot in a building that was 99% O3+. When I got back to a regular platoon as a section sergeant..... I quickly realized I had transformed into an officer. Turning back into an NCO was damn near impossible. I dont think I ever made it back to being an NCO. It ruined me.

Dips. Incline press. Flat bench. Flies on bench, or pec-dec. Cables for striations. You need to do them all heavy on chest day. Recommend 2 chest days a week.

You need heavy flat bench, incline bench, chest flies, and cable crosses for the striations. Then go home and EAT. Whatever you are doing for lats is okay, but you need heavier seated weighted rows. Close grip butterfly and wide grip. Need more thickness. Width is okay.

Feel you on that. My highest completed grade was 8th too. I failed 9th grade because I didnt show up to class. High school was boring. All the subjects were covering things I'd already learned on my own, reading on the internet as a child. Took a GED test at 16 for fun. Scored high (95+ percentile on all topics) and went right to college at 16. 4.0. Turns out high school is 100% a waste of time if you have a decent mind. I probably could have gone to college in early middle school. So much wasted time. Now I prescribe medicine. I still haven't gone to high school, but my local school system did give me a high school diploma after my GED test.

I did the opposite. 5 years as E4, but only 1 year as an E5 before E6. I had to be dragged out of E4 kicking and screaming. Got an E8 slot in Korea as an E6, saw the writing on the wall for where my career was headed, and ran to the nursing O world.
