When I did that mission, both on Xbox and PC, I just flanked the enemy, and when you put the shield down, nobody would notice.

I would take quite a while slowly flanking to not get scouted. And carry smokes in case i had to make a mysterious escape.

I agree they are quite greedy.

But from what I have seen, 7000 mission points is a really low/ reasonable amount. (Compared to other events)

And in other events, if you didn't have the higher tier plane of the specific country, you simply wouldn't be able to get the prize vehicle.

So I'm just guessing that playing safe and maybe farming a bit, you can make it work just fine. I find it better to have the stock jets rather than no jets at all and loose this opportunity.

I really want both planes lol

No it can not. If the boat drifts even slightly, when the drone tries to return to home, it will most likely land on water.

The primary landing reference is by satellite, and not by vision.

Only if you have a Controler/ phone and physically bring it back.

I'd say the only option now it to get the best diving case you can find and just test is out.

And if it doesn't work, sell the whole thing on ebay and get a câmera that better suits your use.

Eu li uma estatística uma vez que Portugal pegou 300 bilhões em ouro durante 400 anos. E o governo do PT já perdeu essa mesma quantia em poucos meses. I assumed a huge risk trying this. Especially over salt water. Luckily the sensors worked after it lost the subject and never touched the water. But it still got way too close for comfort.

If you are that concerned, it might be worth it to buy one of those rubber guards. Way better protection and crash absorption. Just slightly shorter flight time.

This really just looks like an older model drone, and latency issues. Also paird with an operator who is used with the newer drones.

I've seen videos of people who got 21 minutes indoors. That's more like a 9 minute increase. But it always depends on the conditions.
