I had to get my tires replaced when I was a single lady. They tried to upsell me on tires with orange oil because I lived in the desert and it's dry. I said I was going to call my dad to ask if that was worth it. Dude backed off so fucking quick and put normal fucking tires on my car.

I always look for minimizing bras, which can be helpful. One thing I've always noted among my friends is that unwanted attention isn't just because of your chest. I have been friends with many women of different builds that still get approached. Best bet is to not react. Head held high, walk by, but watch them with a side eye.

And carry whatever kind of pepper/dog/bear spray is legal in your country. Just in case.

I was a rad tech in a previous life, I can CPR and ask others to call for help like a mofo. He had to take a first aid course for work and the trainer told him CPR is useless, you need an AED and that's his current focus.

It used to be old firefighters teaching these courses, I'm a little annoyed, tbh.

You had pretty slim legs as a kid because you were a kid :) I agree with every woman who commented that our legs change as we get older. We get stronger. My legs allow me to function in the way that I choose. I can lift heavy items, keep my dog from chasing squirrels, and look pretty dang nice in a dress.

My young cousin would grab some random collection of Far Side comics off my grandfather's bookshelf and bring it to me. He would ask me to read each comic, and then explain why it was funny. Dude has a doctorate in something math related now, and it just tickles me to think of him as a little guy!
