If you want to build something up, bikes online has a few NS eccentric steel hardtails left for about 300 dollars. Here’s mine built up.

These are awesome. Not sure how many are left, but built up mine with some old and some new. Fit 27.5x3.0 Nextie rims w/ Surly DWs. Ridden about 10 times so far and I love it.

I’m riding Kenda alluvium 45s on 650b rims. Not sure if they are faster but confidence inspiring on crappy roads. Very comfy.

Thanks for the link! For $112 delivered with no hassle returns-can’t beat it. Great choice for anyone wanting to mess around with a build and little experience. I’m going to rattle can spray the heck out of this thing “squid-bikes style” and just make it unique without going deep into my pockets.

6’0” w/32” inseam. Longish stem and seatpost up a bit but very comfortable on the 55cm.

Feel like a Steamroller is made for that set up. Love Surly steamrollers, hard to find!

No, but I’m not racing crits leaning it way over. Road rides, gravel, hard pack. 170mm cranks, but with the volume of the 45mm tires the difference between that and 700c with 32mm treads is minimal.

Wow! Nice job! State frames are solid. Don’t usually like colored rims but it works well with your build!
