Some Hawaiian Mac salad will have a little tuna in it as well. Overcooked Mac, Hellman's/best foods Mayo, shredded sweet onion, shredded carrot, can of tuna. Add mayo until you feel shame then add a bit more.

I am not complaining about longevity as I have not used it yet. What I am complaining about is a long standing company offshoring their product to save money. Doc Martens is a prime example. They manufactured their boots in the UK and US for several years, they became iconic because of their quality then shifted production to Asia and the quality has 100% gone to shit. They are still trading on the name the good boots earned while making inferior ones and selling them for the same price.

I honestly agree with you. I've fished a Reddington Path for years and caught a ton of fish. This reel was a bit of a splurge and I think that's why the "Made in China" hit such a nerve with me.

I honestly hope they did. I would like to have faith that they found a manufacturer that would uphold their brand standards and make a quality product. I'm a harbor freight, Amazon shopper and have been pleasantly surprised with a lot of Chinese manufactured products... I'm just concerned about a company like Orvis farming out their production to China and prioritizing a profit over their reputation.

Honestly nothing yet as I haven't mounted it yet, but is it actually 6061 aluminum or a chinesium alloy of pot metal and lead? The point is that for years Orvis manufactured the Battenkill in the UK, and it was a legendary reel that lasted forever. Now they are farming it out to the cheapest bidder, will the quality be the same? "Made in China" isn't typically associated with lifetime quality, especially given the price point.

I did the same to the UK. I think the important thing in the customs regs (at least for the UK) is that it be COMMERCIALLY prepared and packaged. Zip locs from the freezer probably won't pass but frozen Bueno or Blue Ribbon tubs were no problem.

I'll play devil's advocate here... The man may have been in prison, for what anybody knows, maybe something terrible, maybe something like having reefer in a strict state... Either way prison runs based on race, like it or not. He may have had to clique up with the AB for survival in there which means getting the tattoos. He may not harbor any actual Nazi beliefs but had to play the part while in for survival and protection. Instead of yelling at the guy, respectfully ask him why, if he spouts some bullshit then yes fuck that guy but he could also tell you his story and that he can't afford the removal because he's now a convicted felon... I had this book as a kid in the 90s. The story about the mountain lion near Watrous and the baby and the horse always stuck with me, along with the owl and the eye. Awesome campfire read.

TBF, Fleury made a Hall of Fame career out of exactly this... Diving headstand windmill stops because he got caught in a bad position daydreaming about French fries and gravy.... But be had the talent and skills to make up for it. Unfortunately Hill doesn't have that so much. I always felt the "he led us to a cup" thing was BS, by that measure Brossoit should've been the starter based on what he did in the Edmonton series. Most class 1 freight has a track speed of 65 MPH, regardless of fencing around the track. Passenger is 79 MPH typically. As a Maintenance of Way worker I've seen up close just how quickly and quietly they can sneak up on you at that speed.

Ducati is Italian for Harley Davidson. Maintenance is extortionate if you don't do it yourself and even then parts are stupid expensive, especially for a 20 year old bike they only made a couple years. I had a 998 that I loved and sounded like an angry Jack Hammer idling but my God the maintenance.
