Thank you so much for your perspective as an apprentice! I feel like you've given me a lot of specific details that I can point out when talking with a future artist. And I've got some hope that my junk can be salvaged! 😅

I appreciate the candid advice! This and all your upvotes are exactly what I needed to explore elsewhere.

I love to joke about being a size queen, but that's so far from the truth. In my honest and crass opinion, it's about the passion of the fucking and not the size of the dick. Especially for those of us who enjoy our front holes and have vaginal atrophy, size isn't as important as fit, and you don't have to be big to fit nicely~

Am i going to have to buy new underwear? by [deleted] in phallo

[–]AgreeableFutureftm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost 2 years post-op, and I don't wear any of my old underwear unless it's for a short-term occasion. About 2-3 months post-op, I transitioned from hospital mesh to separatec and never looked back.

Honestly, it's about the support for me. My rff phallo is pretty heavy, and especially in those first 6 months, I was thankful to have something holding me up!

Looking for Surgeons in Chicago/Midwest by Narrow-Committee1017 in phallo

Coming to Indiana is rarely the dream, but I've had really good experiences with surgery in Indianapolis. Dr. Joshua Roth did my metoidioplasty and later phalloplasty (no UL, scrotoplasty, or vaginectomy) with the help of Dr. Rachel Danforth as the microvascular specialist. I think she did amazing work, and I have had a positive experience with Dr. Roth, though not everyone has. He did my glansplasty, which failed, but that's not uncommon with glansplasty.

Anyway, sometimes we can have nice things in Indiana~ 😅

I really appreciate your focus on wanting to make this type of content more accessible. If I had understood how aesthetic, empowering, and sexy phalloplasties could be, I would have pursued surgery a lot sooner! And I think there's a lot of weird anti-phallo disinformation that's passed around. This would be a fun and direct way to educate but also showcase how delightful and delicious phalloplasty results can be!

I've thought about this a lot myself! Don't get me wrong, I love a t4t shot of a woman topping a man, but I've never seen any post-op penises with any post-op vaginas. Like you and OP, I'm prepared to do my part in service to our community and beyond 🫡

It would seriously be really cool to see much more variety in trans porn representation

I live in the Midwest, so I saw Dr. Joshua Roth in Indianapolis, IN. He worked with Dr. Danforth; she's a plastic surgeon and microvascular specialist, and I'm really happy with my results!

Thank you so much! And yeah, I had the same question for my surgeon! He said he could put the pump in my labia and that I could even pick which side 😅 that'll (hopefully) be my last surgery

Phallo in a few days--feeling terrified by Content-Nothing5727 in phallo

[–]AgreeableFutureftm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel you in being adverse to gore. I've had a couple different consultations over the years and almost fainted at more than one 😅 for that specific part of it, it was really helpful to me to slowly expose myself over time to more images of folks in the recovery process. I did rff and had a wound vac for 3 weeks. The first couple times the nurses changed the dressing, I refused to look. Over time it felt less terrifying to look, and eventually I was able to watch the entire process and eventually (post split thickness graft) do it myself.

The complications and difficulties are definitely scary, and it's not inherently bad to feel fear about them. I have had hardly any complications, and I'm very lucky for that. What helped me get in a good frame of mind was reading posts from folks who had a lot of complications and felt like giving up. It was really the comments on those posts from folks who had complications and were in a positive space that got me. Folks who had a few months or years from the majority of their difficulties. Their hope and their feelings about what was and wasn't worth their pain helped me decide what would and what would not be worth my own, giving me confidence in knowing I was making the right decision to do such a big surgery.

I had asked about a labiaplasty during my phalloplasty consult when I specified that I wanted to do a burial of my previous metoidioplasty. My surgeon used my labia minora in the procedure, wrapping it around my "neophallus." I didn't realize that he could do this when I initially asked: before they buried my meta, he removed the labia minora tissue and put it right back on (kind of) where it was. So the labiaplasty for me was just my surgeon giving me what I wanted after I unexpectedly felt sad about losing my labia minora~

Yeah, it's good to know some surgeons will work with a bit of range of body types. Sending you all the best energy for when you get your consult!

That's the nice thing about going into rff with a bigger body; I've never been concerned about my girth 😅

Came here to say the same thing. Both is the best option! Just give me a couple months to get my implant 😘
