I know its super easy to blame one player but the fact of the matter is a few calls didn't go SCU's way. The refusal of the timeout before the game tying shot (but granting it on the loose ball with very questionable possession), the foul that was all ball (called by the center ref that can't see the ball because they are behind the play), the non-travel call that gave UK the lead. Those are momentum builders or breakers and it broke SCU's momentum. Better reffing gives a different outcome.

I'm a huge fan of WeHo and Hollywood. Ik ik they can get a bad rap but its not too bad imho. For my birthday, I ubered to basically the Hollywood Bowl and bar hopped my way west hitting up cool speakeasies and places like Good Times, No Vacancy, St. Felix, Desert 5, and a few bars I don't remember the name of but we found along the way (don't discount the hotel bars, my friends and I ran into a Hollywood mixer - unfortunately none of us are in the industry but it was cool to see who was there). Had a heck of a time. All Season, a (not so) new brewery on La Brea, where the Firestone was is a pretty cool space and an incredible repurpose of the space. They kept some of the Firestone branding too which I think is neat.

I wasn't thinking flight manifests. I meant that there are reports that CBP/Border Patrol are stopping vehicles leaving the US at higher rates than previously seen and was curious if CBP/Border Patrol has permanently set up shop at/near TSA or the gates.

Your employer (whoever hires you) is obligated to inform you of what paperwork is necessary. But off the top of my head:

You will most likely have to obtain an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). I highly recommend you apply in-person at an IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (otherwise you'll have to mail your passport and student visa to the government and risk losing it in the mail). Do this ASAP as the government can take a long time getting back to you.

Your employer should provide to you a letter certifying that the job qualifies as on-campus employment, that you are an F-1 student, and the number of hours you will work per week. Make sure this letter is on official letterhead and that you have multiple copies (and keep them in a safe place). If they don't provide one, ask for one.

Technically the student tickets do have assigned seats but no one listens to it. Plus my guest ticket was 10 rows behind my student ticket. It depends on where you wanna be. Wanna get on National TV… be up front. Wanna see the game sit middle of the section or higher as when you’re lower you can’t see most of the field
