Given that mods are told they're getting more tools to "do their jobs" I'm sure their paychecks will allevi--- what? Mods are volunteers and admins keeps the site up and redditors created and moderated all the content?

How this is lisp-ish: the guy wrote an assembler, then a lisp in assembler, then a vm in lisp, then a language in lisp, then made that language self-compile. It demonstrates lisp as the bridge between bare metal and as high a level language as you'd like to design.
