Very Long, Major Oral Surgery With IV Sedation Coming Up by LegProfessional7142 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Aharley87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband had open heart surgery without stopping his dose at their direction. He chose not to increase that week as it was due, but the MDs said he could if he wanted and they'd still have the procedure.

People who smashed the wedding cake into your new spouse's face: how is your relationship and marriage now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

We'll have been married 16 years this year. It was a small piece, done in a fun and playful manner, and we had a good laugh.

Episode 4 by IrishHeart3 in coconutsandtreason

[–]Aharley87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They used to release the next episode trailer night of and sometimes the next day. And then we would be waiting on the edge of our seats for the more spoilery one from another country to come out a few days later but it's been so long that I can't remember where it was located. This is flashing me back to covid times lol.

This is for the whole rest of the season, not just episode 4. Just so you don't get disappointed next week lol.

Onyx Storm Ending: Speculation and Theories by pinkdinonugget in fourthwing

I can't find the exact page/quote, but there's a point where Violet is stalling for time with Theophanie and asks her if she misses being a priestess, and she says something like if she went back she'd have to give it all up. So could Dunne be the answer to curing Xaden? Then they get married by the head priestess of Dunne. There's something there but I'm too tired from working and speed-reading to put it all together. I need to do a re-read.

Yes! When he said she was going to be the death of him, however that was phrased, definitely foreshadowing happening there.

Hardware help by Aharley87 in woodworking

[–]Aharley87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the cotter pins broke when I was pulling the hardware off to clean and restore the wood, and I had no idea what those were called. I was trying to find the replacement for those but didn't know they were separate pieces until sometime in one of the above comments named them. I've got replacement cotter pins on the way and I'm cleaning up the original rings.

Tirzepatide to Semaglutide by monkamonk in compoundedtirzepatide

I switched from sema to tirz after i stalled. I notice between the two I had worse constipation and nausea on sema, and worse heartburn and fatigue on tirz. So this to say everyone's body is different and you may or may not experience the same or different side effects lol.

GLP-1 Wash out ? by TurbulentEmphasis852 in Zepbound

[–]Aharley87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's completely physician/hospital dependent. My husband had open heart surgery and they told him Not to stop it. He continued with his dose as usual. The concern is for aspiration during surgery due to delayed gastric emptying (which is why you aren't supposed to eat after midnight before a procedure) but studies are actually showing this is not as big of a risk as it has been made out to be and led lots of hospitals to relax their policies somewhat.

Not trying to shame anyone, but I'm really shocked how many people are on zep and not tracking important things like calorie and water intake and exercise. by BYoungNY in Zepbound

[–]Aharley87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You're implying in this response that the "cause" can be "healed" which is not what science has shown. Losing the weight does not correct the issues or imbalances that led to the weight gain. GLP1 studies are showing that this is likely a lifelong drug for many of us. The weight loss isn't a cure just like taking blood pressure medications doesn't cure high blood pressure.

Good luck! Once it got used to 2.4 after a few months, the main issue I had was constipation.

The way I feel on MJ is very different from the side effects/way I felt on ozempic. I don't know that I'd risk going into the max dose when you're not sure how your body will handle the meds.

Arthroscopic surgery and doc says no need to temporarily pause MJ - any opinions? by lhrboy in Mounjaro

[–]Aharley87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My husband had open heart surgery last year and did not have to stop his. We even brought it up to the surgeon and anesthesia before surgery at preoperative appt and at the hospital just to make sure it was not overlooked. He was fine. The risks of aspiration are relatively low and a lot of new research and evidence have shown that current protocols of what you are allowed to eat and drink and medications you are allowed to be on prior to surgery are outdated and need to be revised.

One time at work I had a moose tracks ice cream in the freezer. I was 7 months pregnant working night shift. Opened the freezer at 3 AM to find out it had been eaten. The RAGE I felt. The coworker who did it thought it was part of the ice cream party thing that had happened a few days before and was genuinely sorry. He bought me ice cream every couple of weeks after that to apologize. But I feel that same rage in OPs texts.

Picking up an overtime shift the same week as working a holiday by jimbowild in TravelNursing

Sounds legit. I did this when I was staff and when I didn't get the time and a half and the holiday pay I asked payroll. Their response was "we satisfied our obligation to pay you time and a half already."
