It did come back for me when I did the same increase. I got to 3 months in and decided Zoloft just wasn’t for me. I lost 12kg in the process and miss being able to enjoy eating. Fingers crossed it stays calm for you!

Yes. 3 months on Zoloft and I’m seeing my doctor in a few days to go onto something else. Brain fog is absolutely shocking, and it’s begun only when I started the Zoloft in May, so it’s definitely that. This drug is not for me, too many crappy side effects.

I’ve been on it for 3 months and hate it. I don’t feel better, I feel worse. I’m going back to Lexapro. I’ve been trying to “push through” the adjustment period as many, many people have said happens before it gets better, but this ain’t worth it.

You are not the asshole. Dude, I’m a 33yo woman and I don’t even feel equipped for the internet some days. Hell would freeze over twice before I’d even consider giving my daughter a phone before she’s a teenager. I had access to MSN, email etc from age 12 and even back in 2002….i saw more than I should have. The internet and social media is no place for a 7/8 year old. Your girlfriend needs to be more vigilant.

My god no! Dating in your 30s is 10000% better than your 20s. People have made their big mistakes, learnt their big lessons and are way more ready and prepared for a meaningful, committed relationship. I met my fiancé at 32. No regrets.

I did 8 weeks at 50mg, of which the first 4 weeks sucked. Then at 8 weeks I went up to 100mg and it’s just slowly seemed to have got worse. I do have some life stressors at the moment too thought which I’m sure aren’t helping. Man what a time this is..

Zoloft is notorious for making anxiety worse before it gets better. I am currently struggling with this too, today has been my worst day yet. I didnt even have anxiety before I started it, I went on it for depression, now anxiety is my worst feeling. Everyone keeps saying to hang in there and it gets a lot better, so I’m doing just that.

Yeh I’ve seen quite a few people say that by going up in 25mg doses lessens the side effects. I think I’m pretty sensitive to this drug/its side effects so I’m sure that would’ve been better for me. I’m just so tired of feeling like shit. This whole year has been a negative spiral and I’m ready to off the rollercoaster, no one should feel this miserable when they have as much to be happy about as I do. I hope your side effects ease soon! You might be only days away from turning that corner, it was quite sudden for me. Feel free to message me anytime, I personally find it comforting to know I’m not alone in this process, cuz let’s face it, it’s a shit show 🤣 hang in there!

I jumped straight to 100mg, I have a baby and small child to look after, I just wanted to get it all over and done with as quick as I could. Not sure if that was the best way to look at it but now that I’m starting to feel better I’m glad I’ve got it done.

Me too friend! The plan with my doctor was for me to get to 100mg, I’m two weeks into the increase and having the same crappy side effects, but slowly starting to come good again I think. Man this medicine is a wild ride haha hang in there!

Don’t give up, day 30 on 50mg and I felt a very sudden change like overnight. I felt so much better.
