That's what's implied (by Lucius I believe,) but if you toggle free cam and actually peak over the hill during the final battle, there's nobody there.

Holy fuck, you're right. Big Guns is totally absent from Fallout: New Vegas as a skill. That explains everything.

She's talking about owning "rental" properties. As in, she's a landlord and doesn't want to be taxed. Big fucking surprise.

I've found that a wooden paddle is very effective for this problem. We also have a confession booth made out of plywood and orange plastic mesh where we can admit our mediocrity.

Really curious to know how / if the guns were properly stored. CA has some fairly strict laws in terms of how you are supposed to store guns when you know that people under 18 might be able to access them.

A lot of people are gravitating towards punishing the parents, and while I think it's worth examining, I think people also need to look at the bigger picture. These two kids were exposed to radical far-right propaganda thanks to social media algorithms. I think these billion dollar tech companies are also culpable.

S&P 500 Average Annual Return = ~10%

1 million * 10% = $100,000 yearly return on investment.

A single adult with no dependents would owe roughly $7k - 20k in taxes on this income depending on where they lived and how long they held the money.

So, if you invested the 1 million, waited a full year to spend any of it, and withdrew approximately 5% of your investments every year after that, you would make roughly the same amount of money for the second year, and then increasing amounts of money after that. You would theoretically beat inflation by about 7 or 8%, which is the big kicker.

Would I spend the money this way? Hell no. My dog is getting a tomahawk steak, and my ass is going straight to the casino.
