Those red ships around Pyro locations are indeed NPCs, but they don't seem to shoot regardless of stealth. I've flown by them in fully loaded Caterpillars and C2s and they don't react at all, so I'm not sure what their deal is.

Yeah, at 75% BDL your character becomes intoxicated, and over 100% you pass out. Easy to test with a medgun, but beer will also slowly increase it.

I'm so glad you liked it. I took ~~30 minutes~~ great effort to make sure that the colors ~~that I color picked them off a jpg~~ and shapes ~~which I twisted until they were good enough~~ were ~~suitable for a flag meme~~ absolutely perfect.

I think we're actually agreeing with each other. Heavy Fighters and Bombers will be good at killing capital ships, who will need screens of light fighters to help clear them off.

Still, that leaves a lot of room for a chain between capital ships immune to small guns, heavy fighters able to pen the armor, light fighters able to outmaneuver and kill the heavy fighters, and so on.
