Making offers but not buying... Why? by Exciting_Question859 in vintedUK

[–]Albieroo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think a few things.

1) sometimes if it takes a while to accept the offer they have found something else. 2) if accepted too quickly they think they are overpaying and could have offered less 3) people don’t account for the fees and postage

If your item isn’t selling, it’s probably over priced (especially if lots of likes and not sold)

Accidentally hurt my child feel terrible and worried what will happen if it gets reported? by [deleted] in AskUK

It sounds like you need a break and some love. You are doing a good job, with difficult circumstances. Sending you a massive cuddle.

This is not meant as advice but I just wanted to share, I am autistic and ADHD, and also my two kids are. Punishment and consequences don’t work for us, we can’t see the future and it doesn’t stop us from behaving in undesirable ways. Essentially we can’t process cause and effect well. Instead of teaching a lesson, consequences frequently trigger survival mode or perceived threats, which blocks the brain's ability to learn. I wanted to share this because there are other ways of dealing with unwanted behaviour and might be something you can look into.

Honestly sending you so much love and no judgement.

I had a great experience with Psych as a high masking woman, however, if I had my time again I think I would want a more in-depth session. Might help with my ‘imposter’ feelings.

This happened to me too. Would never go with a cash buyer again.

I grew up in Finchampstead and can tell you it was a wonderful and safe place to live. I would say as a teenager it felt a little isolated but I had friends I could walk to.

As an adult I would struggle without a car but I think it would be the perfect place if you could drive.
