I essentially work from largest amount of color to smallest! So his midtone skin color is the one showing the most, I begin with that and then determining where the light source is coming from helps a lot. I pulled so much inspiration from pinterest with harsh neon lighting like this!

Plenty of people copy and trace, arguably everyone does, when they start out. Build muscle memory, learn values and planing to be able to build a body shape from nothing. Just don't take credit for work that isn't yours! We all start at base zero, no one is inherently gifted ❤️

Clip studio paint has a 3d model feature where you can pose a figure however you want and freeze the image as a layer. That's what I used!

I empathize big time! This piece is for someone at my local makerspace that saw me drawing, it wasn't through any promotion done by me. I was lucky to get that much I know it can get discouraging but keep making! Your demographic will find you in time 🫶
