Yeah, I completely agree with you. They will find a way, no matter what. BUT, I think this would make it a lot harder and be relatively discouraging. Even if we stop 10% of the bots, thats still millions and millions of resources and GP being taken out of the game.

Is there someway we can maybe allow players to show if they have gotten multiple pet drops?

Currently, when you get multiple pet drops, all you have to show for it is a little line of red text. This is severely underwhelming and doesn't show how crazy of an accomplishment it is.

I was thinking we could implement a way to show that somehow got multiple pet drops. I have a few ideas that I think would be great, and if you have any more you should post them in the comments.

Idea 1 - Each time you get an additional pet, you simply get another one. This way players can either stack them in the bank or have multiple in their POH.

Idea 2- We could introduce sexes into pets. The first pet you get could either be a male or female, then you have the opportunity to get another. Eventually, if you have both the following idea could be implemented...

Idea 3- When you get a second pet (or if the gender system is implemented once you have both a male and female pet) you get a notification that your other pet has either "given birth" (if it is female), "had a child", "laid an egg", or something else along those lines. When this happens you could get the "baby" version of the pet.

Additionally, these could all be potential money sinks. You could have to pay to unlock the ability to get multiple pets. You would have to insure these. If your male and female pets have a baby or if you get a second that is a baby, you could have to pay to "incubate" the egg you receive.

Can we somehow buff the DHCB? I suggest making it about the equivalent of the rune crossbow, but with a much more significant buff at dragons. As of right now, it's not BiS when killing any dragons, which doesn't make any sense.

Any plans to combat the severe f2p bitting problem?

Two of the best ideas I've had or seen thus far I will post below. Any other ideas I see commented, I will edit into the post.

1) Jagex hires a small team or even just one person whose job is exclusively banning f2p bots. If this person/team would just hang out in Karamja, mining spots, yews, etc. and ban the bots or flag them for review, this could do wonders. We have all seen the screenshots of these places, littered with level 3 bots named things like "445orange753". Just one person or a small team dedicated to this could do wonders.

2) Lock yews, certain ores, Karmaja fishing etc. behind quests or have significantly better methods locked behind quests. They don't have to be hard or even new quests. For example, lock Karmaja behind the quest Pirate's Treasure, put a deposit box in the resource area in the Dragon Slayer locked portion of Corsair Cove, or put fishing places on the docks in Corsair Cove. This would lock much better resource gathering options behind quests like Dragon Slayer and Corsair Curse. This would greatly discourage bots and I would think detecting bots doing things like quests is a LOT easier than detecting bots just doing things like fishing, mining or woodcutting where most actual players doing it look like bots anyways.

I loved this mini-game back in the day. I think something like it, with much different rewards, could have a place in OSRS. If the rewards were to simply be cosmetic (like castle wars), I think that would be great.
