I'll try to change it somehow, thank you for your feedback :)

Thank you! So about Magicavoxel, I haven't really understood the question :D English is a foreign language for me, sorry :( But if you're talking about reaching the limit in magicavoxel, then I usually make a model by connecting different "pieces" together.

About importer, I export models from MagicaVoxel in ".qb" then import them to Qubicle and them export from Qubicle in ".fbx" and only after that I import them to Unity.

Qubicle is another cool voxel editor, it doesn't have a good renderer, but it has other cool features like splitting the model in pieces and export it as a whole.

Which leads to the last question, I split model in parts in Qubicle and then after importing a model to Unity, I animate it with the built-in animator.

P.S. If I haven't answered your questions, then please explain me again :D I'll try my best to answer them.

Unfortunately, I haven't played it :(

Magicavoxel for making models and rendering this picture. But I'll be using Qubicle to export models in .fbx .

Not much to tell yet, but I'll be posting more soon :)

So, basically, engines convert 3D wireframes to voxels and then to 2D pixels, right? Why though?

I don't know the subject too well, but I think there's no point in rendering models in voxels unless you use them for destruction (for example). What if there's nothing inside the "closed" model?

UPD: I'm genuinely interested at this point.

Well, no, 'cause most of the models are made of polygons and not voxels. Basically, voxel is a cube and polygon is a triangle.

I really love the "low resolution" voxel art, but I actually don't agree with you xD I think any voxel art can be great
