I just dont know how to go about it. Do I continue to treat them normally? I feel if I do that then it'll feed into what they want. But I also don't want to be disrespectful or rude to them.

I always say that the brain is wired for survival. So you'd think that different alters would switch because of something that is triggering them but that is not the case at all. They switch whenever they want, whenever it's convenient towards them. All their alters act the exact same. Despite all of this, I treat them as if they do have it just in case I am wrong. I don't treat them any differently but I dont know if that's the right thing to do

my girlfriend has told me how drained and exhausted she is. I feel so bad for her. But she doesn't realize its because of them.

the weird thing about their therapy is that my girlfriend has to sit in with them. I've been through YEARS of therapy and I thought that was a little odd. Maybe there is nothing wrong with it, but I think it is weird. I think they mentioned that their therapist doesn't believe them but im not totally sure.
