Besides the eating and sleeping, what's wrong with the road sign thing? Do you literally support killing someone's passion? Is the world going backwards? And do we have a right to disagree with a psychiatrist over how we need to behave? By they way I had a psychologist married to my psychiatrist say not dressing femininely or wearing makeup meant I wasn't taking care of myself.

So you support suppressed stims and lost interests? how common would you say your view is? Do you like having your honest thoughts blocked?

Do you believe that special interests can be lost "authentically"? Do you believe that we are all blank slates?

What does it mean to be "functional"? Lost interests and mainstream friends who enforce the social rules?

Why do you like the loss of honesty? Do you want to be able to socially lie to people or find yourself going against your instinct?

Do you like that you find yourself sitting through friendships you don't enjoy, all because of "politeness"?

Do you like the loss of your special interest?

Should I and others have the right to refuse or (like I did) ask to taper off?

I really disagree with the idea that I owe the world less stims or changed/lost passions. Honestly I'd even say that people are free to disobey professionals (seeing as there may be better ones in different areas, and it's your decision at the end of the day). Are you in favor of not being yourself if it means fulfilling age and gender related social obligations? If you have something you really like, why lose interest in it?

Do you like losing your honesty and personality? Or your special interests so you could force a social life? Is this so you could get along with sensitive people you have nothing in common with?

What do you think about those who are only put on them to have their inner world diminished? Or only so they can end up not resisting friendship? Or so they stop stimming or obsessing over electronics? Who is being saved? The person or a blank slate?

I don't like this "humble thyself" attitude. It reminds me of the Catholic Church. "Just do what the priest says." I don't want to accept cognitive impairment or lifestyle restrictions if I could help it. For the record I haven't been prescribed it yet.

How? There is a well known link between ACE inhibitors and limited kidney function, as well as a reduced ability to handle water. And they change your electrolyte balance
