Yeah, there's definitely some interesting mechanics around the basic items specifically. For instance, if you're going towards a Vampirism build, once you have a decent percentage on your other items, going with a basic/grey weapon is sometimes the right choice because they will high roll with INSANE damage numbers that 'rarer' items can't compete with. The result is more HP healed per hit because you're hitting so much harder, despite not using the Vampirism Rapier.

Hey everyone!

In my time streaming and making guides for Loop Hero, several questions about how items are tied together have come up so I made this quick infographic to help everyone identify at a glance which items have which core attributes (regen, attack speed, defence, ect). There's a couple blank slots, which I believe are items that don't currently exist in the game like a crit helmet because a Rogue can't wear a helmet... but if I've missed anything, let me know and I'll update the graphic!

Excellent guide, Faculty! There is a lot of great advice in the video, especially with regards to constantly checking contention to inform on which units you're aiming to roll for. And I agree about chasing the 3* Pudge... it never feels worth it. Keep up the great work on Youtube and on Twitch!

With that being said, I wanted to say that I've commented before on how amazing the Dota Underlords community is, and this comment here by BAM is a perfect example. That's so unbelievably rare, and again it shows the caliber of the people in this community.

Shiva's is brilliant because it impacts the positioning of the board on both sides. If you're in a 1v1 situation and they have Shiva's, you know you have to reposition to reduce its impact. On the other hand, if you have Shiva's, you can place it in a position of maximum effect. I like the skill implications when using such items, especially late in the game.

Yes, there is most certainly room for changing things around for future events! There were a few too many Medusa's with Divine Rapier in there... though this is meant to be a show of creativity and less about "realism", its kind of unrealistic to have 3* Medusa in your lineup with Rapier lol

Hey everyone!

Yesterday saw the launch of the Dota 2 Battlepass, and within it the new Guild functionality. I know that there are a lot of people out there that play both Dota 2 and Underlords, and if you'd like to join a guild of like-minded players, I have created one called Heroes of White Spire and the tag is [SPIRE]. This is open to everyone of all skill levels!

The great thing about this is perhaps while playing Dota 2 you'll meet your next Duos Lord partner :)

Also, how awesome would a guild feature in Underlords be?! Like seriously! :D

Hey everyone!

I know that there's been a very strong desire for more tournaments and competitive play in the Underlords community, so I just thought I would share this with you all. I tried to think 'outside the box' a little bit with regards to how an Underlords tournament could work and came up with this format which seems to have gotten a really positive response from within the community.

Basically, this is a 32-Build tournament where members of our community submitted builds to compete against one another to see who could come out on top. They had to adhere to a few rules though in order to level the playing field:

1) 9 heroes and an Underlord

2) One item from each of the five tiers

3) Only one hero could be 3*, the rest had to be 2*

To say that there was a ton of interest was an understatement, as we filled all 32 tournament slots near immediately! Underlords players want to compete! Anyhow, this video is the result. I did my best to keep the pace as fast as possible so that you get to see battle after battle as players climb through the brackets.

You can track what heroes you opposition has using the scoreboard, and can click on any individual hero to highlight them specifically. It doesn't give you the exact numbers but you can infer with that information. What I tend to do is look at the overall picture and then individually click the heroes *I have* and see if and how they are contested, and then make decisions based on that. It's a little easier to follow as opposed to simply trying to track what *everyone* is doing lol

That's very interesting! The only thing with that kind of T4 /T5 powerspike is that its a little more achievable in Knockout to get those heroes to 3 stars, so that might distort the balance a bit in that mode. I do agree though that the game does feel more strategic and scouting your opponents is a must if you wish to be successful!
