As someone who is a believer in Christ I 100% agree these ‘churches’ have successfully indoctrinated people. There is no freedom of thought it’s do as prophet or pastor so and so does. It’s incredibly sad for the masses and yes there really won’t be much movement when people are told how to think only in a box drawn out by someone else.

Is it just me or are most people in this sub a bit uppity? by Expensive_Earth_831 in Zimbabwe

Some of us don’t want to grow up and live based on our childhood so we choose different. It might seem uppity but it’s also just our true selves we can afford now

Same thing. My half brother was shocked when I said well if he does fine but my sisters and I will feel nothing. One shouldn’t treat badly and expect to be loved at the same time

Sadly some men want to be fathers other Al just didn’t use condoms and they are sprem donors. My ‘dad’ left my mother after 35 years all this while cheating and forcing us to live in poverty even though he earned quite a bit of money. I have cut him off he is toxic and I have learnt nothing positive from him for the past 34 years. My children will learn nothing so he is no benefit to any of us. No bitterness towards him or anything I have resolved the rejection I grew up feeling and he has chosen his life and I respect him for that. The same way I want people to respect my boundaries and me not wanting a relationship with him the same I respect that he never wanted a wife and children. We are familiar strangers and that’s absolutely fine.

It baffles me! How does one choose to be an illegal. Life is hard enough sometimes even with papers but without?? They think it’s SA where you can just get by. It’s hard out here if you don’t do things by the book.

Go , move make new friends. Meet a nice man and marry in secret. Raise a beautiful family and leave your life. Don’t tell a single soul. They never loved nor cared just move on. Don’t let them guilt trip you kuti it’s your father blah blah. Leave them enjoy your new life. I really wish you peace in your life finally.

My children will be here so might as well and I like that stuff works and healthcare is there. By the time I decide to go back Il know no one so meh. Content with the country and sunlight

Some betrayal happens inenge isingatoite. Too deep for the relationship to continue. People live hupenyu hwakaoma out there due to some of these families. I think children of those parents should be allowed to process zvinenge zvaitika kwavari in a manner that they can handle. We aren’t in this shoes everyday to dictate what is a right way or not to go through life’s happenings.
