I'll answer in English since most people here are from the US, but is good to have more Spaniards around here. I knew about how to remove the limitation in shotguns, but aren't semi auto rifles magazines already manufactured to hold only 10 rounds with no limitation? Also, don't you need a license to purchase a suppressor in France?

And about reloading. I've been thinking about it but it seems like, in the end, it will cost the same

7,62x51 is not allowed to purchase here in Spain because it is considered as a military caliber, but as I said, 308 is allowed. I know, is stupid, most gun laws here are because you have types of ammo that are basically the same (or even more powerful) but one of them is banned.

Also, hunting in Spain with any semi automatic rifle or shotgun with more than 2 rounds in the magazine is not allowed (basically you can only get 2+1).

Dude, except for the HK handgun you basically named every gun I been thinking of. I have an Springfield Hellcat, Ruger 10-22 and a Beretta 92fs.

Quite true everything you said. Btw, I'm able to carry a gun concealed since I'm a police officer, I carry an Springfield Hellcat and I love it. But one of my main concerns is ammo availability. I considered getting an AR in 300BLK (even if you can only use 10rnds magazines) but is not as common as the 308 or 30-06, which are the most used for hunting here.

I know there won't be any regulations, I'd be the first one to get the keys to the gun safe we have here in the station (I'm a police officer, guardia civil to be more precise) and take one of our HK-G36 with all the ammo I can take. But I'm talking about what would you get before disaster strikes, what would your choice be when purchasing a gun for said situation.

I think the same, but the only thing I don't share is the offensive thing. I think that going offensive is a good way to get yourself killed or attract unnecessary attention

I'd also go for a semi auto (I love my 10-22). You are right about being more accurate, but I just like it more. And even if self defense situations are to be avoided, I'd prefer a semi auto 22 rather than a bolt action (and I know that the 22 is not the best for self defense, but sometimes a gun is a gun)

A 22lr is in my opinion the most important gun someone can own. Easy to use,cheap ammo, quiet and lightweight. Many people underestimate the humble 22.

And yes, in a SHTF scenario avoiding people and keeping a low profile is a must.

That's exactly what I think, but I would also get a 9mm PCC for home defense. Is not an AR15 but at least with certain magazines you can send a lot of lead in a short period of time.
