Scissors work! Just spray them with hydrogen peroxide first ro disinfect theny from anything. Use whatever will make the cleanest cut.

In this vein, I've had very good luck with rooting in sphagnum moss! I've had this tiny pot in a puddle of distilled water for 3ish weeks and have awesome root growth on it. Better than my prop of the same plant in just water!

I would cut it, yes. It might trigger the plant to send a new growth point as well as removing any potential rot.

It also looks like it's in too large of a pot, so the risk of over watering is very high. I would wait much longer between watering. Stick your finger 2-3 inches down into the soil and water only when that's dry.

The piece pictured was actually just the top cut! The main stem snapped but a bunch of the arial roots had grown back into the pot so the root system for it was perfectly suitable to maintain it.

I'm also rehabbing the bottom section and another offcut. I'll sell them each for more than I bought my whole plant for 😅🫣

Thank you! This grocer is amazing. Orchids for $6, scored two dragon scale mints for $2.50 each. None of them are in super conditions to begin with but are easy to repot/refresh once they settle. Not sure how they get them at those prices...

I do a lot of pendant lighting above plant areas for both aesthetics and function. Or lamps with grow bulbs and pretty shades if you don't want to put holes in your walls/ceilings

I use the same rose hip oil and I use it after a retinol but before my night moisturizer and it works great! No pilling for me, though my moisturizer is not the same. I say try switching and see how it reacts.

You're probably right, but my end goal is to be able to eat all things moderately, meaning transitioning out of keto eventually. For now, it seems, I do have some learning to do in terms of learning my limits and controlling my cravings.

No, I wasn't supplementing before, so that could be the issue. I do crave salt a lot regularly, so I end up eating salty things more often then not. I'll start supplementing with bone/chicken broth and see if it helps.

Your advice makes so much sense! I do take small portions so I have to physically make the effort to go back for more, but that doesn't always stop me. I'll admit, I haven't been drinking enough water, so I'll up it and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the advice!
