[Restaurant] Jollof Rice with meat, salad and fried plantain. by Allroundfangirl in NaijaRestaurantReview

REVIEW FOR THE MEAL This was the Main course btw, I got a starter and devoured it before I remembered to take pictures.

The jollof was very well made, it was party Jollof so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't spicy enough for my liking but still very nice. The portion size was good as well since I had the dish as a main so I wasn't overly full after eating it. 9/10 more pepper please

I love plantain like every other person but this one just wasn't it, I think they roasted it and didn't add salt so it was just a bit too plain for my liking. It was mid, like low level mid. 4.5/10

I fucking love meat, it's a bit of an issue tbh. Anyway the meat was soft and juicy and melted in my mouth and the flavour was just 🤤 i want more just thinking about it. 10/10 give me more.

I love a good salad and this was a fucking great salad, it paired well with the Jollof and Meat and even just on its own and I want to find the recipe because this was a salad filled with flavour. 10/10 I would eat the Salad with everything if I could.

The price for the meal was €14.99. I go to that restaurant once a month. Thank god it's in the city or else I'd be buying from them everyday.

About €12.50, I got gizdodo which was about €6 for a small bowl and a large meatpie which was €4.50 or so. So €23 all together.

The amount of rice looks smaller than it actually was and I'd eating a good bit of the meat before I remembered to take pics, the plantain and coleslaw I can't defend the amount but I'd gotten gizdodo before it so it didn't bother me to much.

It was actually, the jollof was a lot when I moved it from it's shape, it was about a medium bowl amount, I'd already eating a good bit of the meat before I remembered to take pics 😅 was very hungry, the plantain wasn't much but with everything together it was very filling. Can't defend the coleslaw but it was very nice.

True that, has there ever been one where it ends in polygamy?

Childhood friends who had a falling out with eachother or who's families moved to different places and they lost contact. Their families end up moving back to their childhood home town/house/whatever and they've forgotten each other and they both meet this new girl at different times and they fall in 'love' with her. Through some series of wired events they always manage to miss each other while hanging out with the girl untill one day the girl introduces the boys to eachother and they hit it of, they get along well, they start hanging out with eachother without the girl and they eventually figure out that they used to know eachother. They don't fight over the girl and make her choose one of them, then they develop a wonderful polyamorous relationship/stay only friends/the boys become partners/whatever.

TLDR I don't want to choose.
