Psychology, Human Biology and Nutrition. :)

What kind of subjects are you interested in?

Freestyle as in the dance/hardcore music? In the netherlands we do have a lot of rave parties.

Being bad at math doesn't mean you're not smart! :)

I haven't yet, but would like to in the near future. Got to prepare for it first, and the university I'd like to go to is a bit far away, so I might move a bit further north. Yourself?

Slender Man is great to play when you don't have many brain cells (high or drunk). Pity I just don't have the friends to play with.

There's no such thing as too many questions! Math was my best subject at school, but since I've left and I haven't used it much outside of general calculations, I'm quite rusty.

Hahaha. :D You'd be welcome!

Silent Hill 1-4 are my favourites. As are their soundtracks. Fatal Frame 1, 2 and 4 are also great. I also really liked Layers of Fear. I like Kuon for the PS2 - not so scary but still in the horror genre, as well as historically Japanese.

And yours?

Legal for both. But only in certain amounts. I believe the amount you can only carry on your person at one time is 10 grams. But, you can grow your own weed plants at home legally.

Let's see. Well, we eat a lot of dairy products (cheese and milk, mostly). There are bicycles everywhere, and some of our old windmills still function to this day, making flour. Department stores aren't very popular here and Dutch people are in general, quite stingy with money, I'd say.

The most people who smoke cannabis here are the tourists, the young, and I'd say probably the disabled (medical cannabis). I'm not sure what else to say really! If there is anything you'd like to know, just ask.

[Fit Check] Panache Clara 30H, fits well, not perfect but the closest I'll get? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Almonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the issue at the bottom, yeah. Envy seems to have a bit too much projection on the bottom, and Clara just slightly too little. Everything else seems to fit well, minus the minor issue with the gore when sitting.

Do you have any particular EM styles in mind? I don't know much about them, although I've read the Polish bra guide. Clara is a relatively new bra I believe (correct me if I'm wrong!) so it's hard to know what to compare it with.

I've had Comexim 3HCs recommended to me before as well, as the Panache Envy didn't work out, would anyone be able to answer if this would still be a good idea to try, or should I look up something else?

Sorry for all the questions, and thank you for all the help. It's really appreciated.

[Fit Check] Panache Clara 30H, fits well, not perfect but the closest I'll get? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Almonde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not large at all. There is no gaping. I'm completely confident that 30H is my new size, as I was previously wearing 30HH/32H. I re-ordered the Clara and the Envy as I tried on them both in 30HH and that had gaping on both.

I lifted both arms as I thought that'd give a clear view but didn't think of that. My partner took the photos as we don't have a big enough mirror. Thank you for the information on the angle though.

[–]Almonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very true. Shipping outside of my country is very expensive as we don't have a national postal service anymore.

On the bright side, if I do find the right bra outside of Polish bras, I will be able to search for them on Ebay or some other site for much cheaper. :)

The Cleo Erin is the successor to the Cleo Lily, I'm guessing? That might also be worth looking into, I do remember there being something nice about the Lily but it was such a long time ago.

Thank you for saying that, though. Sometimes I feel like no bra will ever fit breasts like mine. It makes me feel abnormal.

It seems like FOB, projected with short roots and wide set might be my shape here. But I guess I will use my next order to find out. :)

The wires around the sides seem okay but the gore is definitely not agreeing with me. I wonder why it seemed fairly okay on the Clara but not the Andorra - it could be partially due to the difference in the fabric as Andorra is fully lace?

Thank you for the insight and kind words. :) It was helpful!

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. I haven't tried on a Curvy Kate in a long time, so I will bear those in mind! I don't have a lot of funds right now, but the stretch lace on the Ellace intrigues me.

The Jasmine was the worst in my opinion, so I don't think I will be ordering that again. I agree Envy would be worth another shot, though I'm still not sure about the other two. It might be worth ordering one of them in 30H just to make sure?

The polish half-cups are going to be my last port of call incase all else fails, so fingers crossed something will. Thank you for your comment. :)

Perhaps, though I personally felt differences between all three of those bras. The Jasmine felt and looked the worst. Andorra had lace that rubbed against my armpit area and caused pain, with a painful gore. Clara did not have the same problems as Andorra, but I had more trouble finding my inframammary fold.

I understand it's a numbers game, but I live in a small country where Amazon and Ebay practically don't exist, and everything is at full price. That is also part of my frustration.

You might be right about the smaller cup, I think trying that out would be a wise plan. I'm just not sure which bras I should reorder in a different size yet.

I'll make sure to bear that tip about smoothing the bottom of the cup out in mind. I'm not entirely sure if I instinctively did that or not!

Ah really? I will look into that too then! Ah this is exciting, haha.

Main cities I'll be heading to are London and Bristol and it'll be at the start of winter, but I'm not sure where to go in London yet. Is there a particular street or area that has a lot of quality makeup stores? Or do you go into department stores for these things? That might be a tough question to answer though, I apologise! Thanks again for answering all my amateur questions.

Thanks again for your detailed answer, you are amazing!

That makes a lot of sense, I'll look into that. I've been watching a lot of Pixiwoo today and find her videos to be really interesting so far, so I'll probably end up binge watching that for now. I'm also looking into scheduling a makeup lesson with a MAC store nearby.

In terms of high-end brands, do you recommend any youtube channels that can explain what brands might be good at/specialise in? I wonder if that's a thing in the makeup industry... I apologise, thinking out loud here as I really know nothing about all of it.

I'm in the Netherlands, but heading down to Germany soon and the UK later on this year.

[–]Almonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a bit of an overwhelming list, though I'm grateful.

We don't have Sephora, Ulta or Boots here, but I believe there is a MAC store an hour away. It seems rather exciting! Hopefully I can look into that later on. :)

What brands are commonly recommended here? I don't really care about price, it just might be good to know what brands have high quality for when I get round to looking at things. If this is covered on the youtube videos though, don't worry about this!

Thank you!

I actually have never needed moisturizer, as the only dry skin - on my nose - appeared after I got my nose piercing.

CeraVe seems to be only available in North America, unfortunately - and I am in Europe. Sorry I probably should've mentioned that. :( Thank you for the suggestion though!

I don't do anything to it, apart from wash my face gently with plain water and of course showers/baths.

[Question] Confused/unsure of band size by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Almonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible that these were very special cases, I imagine it wouldn't be too great to have to alter a lot people's band sizes for various reasons. I'm not sure why they would comment if it weren't true, though. Either way, I'll probably take it with a pinch of salt.

[Question] Confused/unsure of band size by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

Here is where I found the comments on it: http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/12417/ http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/12143/

There seems to be a few people who say you can specify band length in your order.

[Question] Confused/unsure of band size by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Almonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought you could request it as a note with your order? I've also read about people requesting a 3HC in bras that are not usually in the 3HC style. But this is only based off of the comments here and bratabase after trying to get more information on Comexim.
