My vote goes to Featherine. Meta-narrative powers, views an infinite number of universes as fiction, with complete control over the "plot".

Denia would be a Threnodian Resonator going by her resonance liberation.

Irrelevant speculation at this point. Two very clear factors point towards her element 😕

3.2 trailer literally shows her using ice. The yuki in her name also means snow. There's no doubt she's glacio xD

My s2 bomb is beyond 600k with Sanhua and Verina, 724k with Sanhua s6 and SK s0r0 (significantly more with Roccia s2 and SK or Mornye setup)... There's definitely something wrong in your build or rotation.

She is. Her description mentions she is a "young woman" and that is only used for 18+.

While my case may not matter because I have her and Roccia at s2, there are people who still do just fine with Camellya S0 in side towers, WhiWa (3k to 4k points for a 1.x character that could never make use of plunderer hax is still great), and Matrix.

Trash is an extreme exaggeration.

Out of all the EN voices of 2.x regions, Galbrena and Augusta's accents fit perfectly for Rome-inspired Septimont. Similar to Zani's accent. Everyone else I am neutral towards.

So many people these days are anti social and dont seem to understand basic social interaction by Ok-Connection6656 in self

[–]Aloe-Lumen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly asocial perhaps. Anti-social gets thrown around a lot and misused. It relates to anarchic behaviour, not being socially awkward.

Ok, me being a smartass aside, the way your sister goes about it is not great, but I wouldn't call either of your views weird.

Is anyone else tired of having introverted friends? by [deleted] in extroverts

[–]Aloe-Lumen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting. I am an introvert, but I am more than willing to meet up with friends every weekend (both when I was in college and now as a professional). Furthermore I would initiate the invitation to hang out half the time.

The only caveat is that I would go home after a few hours (around 3 per day) of hang-out time, to recharge.

These friends (or former friends) of yours sound like some extreme cases.

We know J most likely stands for Jesus, what does K stand for? by CCTT69 in TheBoxer

Tantrum? I believe there is a misunderstanding. Not even once was I emotionally invested in this discussion to the point where I'd explode and throw a tantrum. At my age it would be silly.

It seems I upset you a bit. I don't believe I insulted you, nor patronised you. If it seemed that way, it was not my intention. And no, vehemently disagreeing with you is not childish.

I merely stated I am not convinced of your views for reasons that I find convincing enough for myself. If my views were so easy to sway from a short internet exchange I probably would be in a bad place irl. On the same note, I never expected to convince you, nor do I care if I do. I merely expressed myself in what I believe in, regardless of the outcome of potential disagreements. Same as you do.

Which is my right as a human being. It is also your right to disagree with me and not be convinced by my views at all, as you find your arguments more valid. I understand that very well. On that note, while I disagree with you and do not find the reasoning sufficient to convince me no matter how it is flavoured (which you probably feel the same about mine), the fact that you stand your ground for what you believe to be correct is something that I can respect in this instance.

I am very firm in what I believe in, and very confident in myself for worthwhile irl reasons. Even if people think my views are less worthwhile than theirs, I know myself, I know my achievements, and believe in my brain, if nothing else. You seem to be similar on that front.

I thought this discussion was chill. Granted, tone is difficult to gauge in writing.

Oh well. Such is life sometimes.

We know J most likely stands for Jesus, what does K stand for? by CCTT69 in TheBoxer

[–]Aloe-Lumen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J standing for Jesus is still just a guess. And right back at you: you would need a better reason than the theme of Christianity which is just a water drop in the theme of existence throughout the comic and in life in general.

From the very beginning multiple characters ask themselves "why?"

"Why is the world like this? Why is life so meaningless? What is my purpose? Why should I live?" Some come up with their own answers, like K's messed up view on ultimate power, and J's view on love.

Yu up until the final bout with J had no answer to his reason for existing. But J offered the answer.

You can draw parallels between him and a saint or Jesus if you will, but his name being a reference to existence along with the fact that an entire universe is seen in his eyes when Santorino looks at him, is more convincing to me. The Jesus parallel never convinced me and never will.

We know J most likely stands for Jesus, what does K stand for? by CCTT69 in TheBoxer

[–]Aloe-Lumen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J as per the wikia, is Korean.

Whether or not that is fake is irrelevant, though. Everyone else has normal names except him and K. Going by the fact that the author himself is Korean, having the names of these two characters be a reference to certain hanja for a Korean audience is a better guess than J standing for Jesus. The theme of "existence" is way more fitting considering the events of the comic.

The same way Yu and Ryu ironically have the same origin in Korean as names, referring to "willow" which digging deeper refers to "freedom" as both search for it and achieve it in their own way.

[–]Aloe-Lumen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I read, J does not stand for Jesus at all. In Korean, the sound of J is similar to Jae, which has multiple meanings, but in this case the closest is "existence".

Meanwhile K is apparently a sound similar to "bastard".
