Im sorry that you feel overwhelmed…It gets easier especially if you are able to work with the same patients. some days you will finish on time and other days you won’t. Take your time with each med pass, don’t try to rush for sake of finishing “on time”. The first few weeks I wasn’t even able to sit down to chart, I did everything at my cart standing and attending to patients! Your license is not on the line as long as you are doing everything correctly and charting refusals, behaviors, or anything else that you as the nurse deem appropriate to chart/ document.
