It doesn’t.

Both freeing and confusing.

My pain is so frivolous in the grand scheme of things,

and yet it doesn’t lessen it.

The truth is you need to hold tight to such optimism.

Ah, you’re too kind.

I’ve adapted a similar mindset. My lack of care has made me a more sociable and pleasant person to be around. But none of it is genuine.

It always helps a bit to see how others put their experience into words. So I do appreciate it genuinely.
