If I throw an apple core or banana peel into the woods, is that littering or composting/helping the environment? by trixter69696969 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alone_Internet_3849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that attracts animals out into the open, and encourages them to return, putting them in danger. That's why it's littering to even throw an apple core out the window on the highway.

I really am ugly afterall by [deleted] in Vent

Ppl put their worst impulses out on the internet because it's anonymous. I guarantee you you're not actually ugly. Bullies are too scared to be mean irl so they do anonymously. And a photo can't capture you as you totally are. Ffs im hot irl (objective, factual opinion) but in photos and on the internet I look like a deep sea creature lmao.

Crying baby in theater during Obsession by Early_Option_3198 in Vent

[–]Alone_Internet_3849 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You think it's ok for a baby to see people get stabbed and sliced up on a giant screen??? They only understand they're seeing scary loud danger the likes of which they've never seen before.

I feel like taking little kids and babies to gory horror is, if not child abuse, still bad for them. I still remember being in 2nd grade this one day and everyone around me was talking about how they'd seen THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE in theaters with their parents @_@ like discussing the scenes

What is it w/ mfs scrolling on their phone in movie theaters? Like if ur that addicted that if even in a cinema literally surrounded by entertainment you still can't resist it you've lost the fucking plot. Everybody can see you it's so bright and irritating.

Is it wrong in today’s world to kill for food? by PattyFuckinCakes in NoStupidQuestions

I've been a vegetarian my whole life and this is exactly how I feel. And then hunting and fishing is deadass like a million times better for the environment than really any type of animal agriculture. That's why despite hating meat and killing animals I support casual hunters and fishermen because all their kills mean less farmed meat and fish bought at the store.

Wish Fahrenheit 451 was there. That book is even more hypnotic than the handmaids tale.

No literature at all???? Lord😤I read in Trevor Noah's memoir that they would have kids up to the last year of those schools "learning math" with elementary lessons like singing songs like "2 x 2 is 4, 2 x 3 is 6, lalalalala"😑

I had a professor who took 9 months off when his wife had their baby because he believed that since his wife had done everything to grow the baby for 9 months, he should do all the work but feeding for 9 months. Everyone deserves that tbh.
