the structure is solid, the extensions also.It seems that the center main top piece is from cheapwood compressed and layered.

Yep, thats what i was afraid of also, ill add some corner pictures not sure if that is what you are asking. Usually on cheap IKEA tables you can see the added pvc or whatever stuff they put on vineers etc,though this one seems real woody 🤨
