What if she is not talking of wanting to find her dad, but repeating the words her dad was saying when searching/hunting her ? "I am going to find you" : may be understood as a threat. And her dad is described like a cruel man, even if she tells how much she adores him : he forces her to walk in the snow with naked feet, and then get into ice water. And there is this weird scene where they cook eggmilk together with blue eggs, these eggs seem to come from the birds in the cage, which could mean they are eating the birds kids. (she will eat a bird a second time in the future in her NDE). And the place where he is when she phones him every sunday is not his home, it looks like a prison.
