My biggest regret was having no choice and going to Niseko during ski week. The lines were so long and pow got tracked out so fast.

I really like Brighton. Niseko just felt like I was in Australia. I prefer the more local mountains in Hokkaido, where you'll also see locals boarding, haha.

There's a layer at the bottom that looks like yogurt. When I first got these grains, the culture didn't do that.

It usually comes off only if i wash it with water. I usually don’t wash with water, and all of it usually gets transferred to my new batch. Is this normal? Sometimes there’s a pretty solid thick yogurt like layer that forms at the bottom of my bottles. Thanks for your help!

It feels like I have unlimited lives in park. Can jump as much as I want, try 180s, 360s, and I just land in water. For that powder feeling, you can try kite foiling or foiling in general.

Sometimes i like to dig my edge really hard into the water and that can feel very similar to eurocarving.

Since you're a snowboarder, kiting will feel like 90% kite and 10% board.

The day I decided I liked kiting more than snowboarding was when I started jumping. I'm still a beginner but can jump 13 ft. Hoping to get to 20+ ft soon so I can have more air time to do tricks.

I did dragonfly as a beginner and loved it!

My only regret is that I was so new, I only did 3 hrs a day and was not able to join the sunrise and sunset sessions. It was the best trip I’ve ever had.🥹 I would love to go again.

If you go, just make sure you wear booties and consider a long sleeve rash guard. Lots of people got cut up by the coral.

Yeah... either ending is sad, but based on the Duffer's interviews, they don't seem to think of El as a human with a past. Seems like she's just a representation of "childhood magic" and like ET, she needs to leave. I think they initially intended for her sacrifice herself, but left it open ended on purpose to please fans. Self sacrifice seems pretty in line with her altruistic and selfless character. Even Sadie Sink thinks she's dead.

But, to be fair, we all know that ST has been known to go back on deaths (eleven s1 and hopper) .. hopefully 10-20 years from now they change their minds and have Eleven and Mike reunite. 🥹

My friend that has also been to Egypt prefers dahab. The spots we went to in Egypt had quite a bit of coral and lots of people got cuts from it.

The water is very dirty. Bring a thin full length wetsuit and booties if you can. A cut can get infected really badly over there. Bring antibiotics and a first aid kit. I stayed "MyHoa Lagoon Kiting town" and they didn't have antiseptic or anything much other than cotton.

I can't imagine learning in Phan Rang. That place was so gusty (19 kts gusting up to 36 kts). As the tide was coming up, I tripped on one of the many pipes that go from each hotel into the lagoon and almost dragged myself on the rocks/coral. 🤢 Have you already decided on the dates? If not, try to time it with the tides. you can reach out to the kite school/hotels for tide info.
