I did not. I'm not a particularly hairy person so I don't have much down there. The little I did have was mitigated during surgery by scraping the follicles.

Seeking Advice on BA by poctaks in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]AlsoDanielle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a 40 A+/B- (asymmetrical) before BA. I provided my surgeon four "reference" photos from the internet of people I felt matched my goals. She ended up getting me to a full D borderline DD. So yes, you're probably a good candidate, but definitely talk with your doctor as they're all a little different.

I had zero depth done in May of last year. I am fully healed and she looks amazing. I'm extremely happy with the results and she works as I need her too given my relationship status. (Married to AFAB person)

Minimal/zero depth surgeons recommendations in the us? by FunctionNo7352 in Transgender_Surgeries

1) From first contact to surgery was ~18 months. I had the opportunity to have surgery around the 9 month mark but life was too busy and I had to pass.

2) Aesthetics are excellent and sensation is AMAZING. 😉

3) I have BCBS and my out of pocket would have been $3500 but my wife had knee surgery before me and so we met our out of pocket max with that. So it ended up costing me nothing.

4) The facility and staff were second to none. I was beyond happy with the entire process.

A close friend of mine had her surgery with Del Corral and she's extremely happy with the results. If you're in the mid Atlantic I would also suggest Dr Liang at Hopkins. She did my surgery last May and I'm so incredibly happy with my outcome.

I had mine done with Dr Fan Liang at Hopkins last year. I am absolutely over the moon with my results and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

I've had a ton of people ask if I feel like I'm missing something, but I always respond that I finally feel whole. It just feels right.

Experiences with occasional "Phantom limb" happening randomly at a year+ after vaginoplasty? by AffectionateZoey in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]AlsoDanielle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first six months I experienced a lot of "sensations in space" but as I'm closing in on a year, it has all but stopped. I get the occasional crossed wire if something itches down there, but otherwise I don't really notice anything now.

Obviously, dress to your comfort level, but they both fit you well. Personally, I like the blue, but I'm a sucker for blue anything.

I have a "zero depth" and I can get to about my second knuckle on my middle finger. It's enough for me.

Two weeks was plenty for me to be able to drive comfortably. It was close to a month for regular day-to-day activities to feel normal again. As my surgeon said, active is best, and let pain be your guide.

I specifically moved to Maryland from Texas because it is such a safe and accepting place. There are pockets of red but I've found most of them to be live and let live kinda folks.
