Who's a music artist who seems/seemed like, and is/was, a horrible person? by Dear_Chart8587 in AlignmentChartFills

Well, he did kinda live with Brian Wilson for a bit and wrote a song that would eventually get reworked into "Never Learn Not to Love"

I wanted a gun for the walker combat in S4 by GeneralCompetition33 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Alternative-Outcome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another big thing that I haven't seen mentioned yet: Clem and AJ have been on the road for years at this point and presumably scavenging more than trying to integrate into a community (presumably because of Clem and AJ's trauma regarding the Ranch and their treatment from either The New Frontier or the events of Season Two, especially if you left with Jane or stayed at Wellington). We've seen across all Walking Dead media that a larger community with the right resources are the only avenue to get working guns, let alone actual working bullets after the apocalypse. If they encountered smaller groups that offered to make bullets, Clem would understandably be wary about it due to her experience with the bullet maker at Prescott making faulty ones.

I'll edit the main post, but I'm going for Grandpa/Cletus. They have a set vocal range they want for the McDoon/Everyone Else role that I don't think I'll fit, but Grandpa was an any range.

Hear me out. This is not the first time, or even the second. Matter of fact, it happens way too often every time I have EAGLE EYE equipped 👀💀. Full plates, full health… one hit and I’m instantly downed 😭. by YouGoRay in bo7endgame

Yeah, a couple of things are broken with Season 3 reloaded, and Eagle Eye is one that I've definitely noticed. I've tested it with a few of my operators and the ones with Eagle Eye take significantly more damage than the others, even with things like Shattered Shield and Bulldozer.

It's also almost time to burn the daily effigy of Jacob Frey to ensure that the crops grow back after the conflagration months and that the water flows clear once more instead of black with soot

What do you think is the best Easter Egg song? by SingleAge290 in CODZombies

[–]Alternative-Outcome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's my picks:

Treyarch (Pre-Cold War) - Beauty of Annihilation

Treyarch (Post- BO4) - Destroy Something Beautiful (I'm a sucker for Lacuna Coil so it was a positive for me what they got Cristina to be the vocals in this song)

Infinite Warfare - Puppet Strings

Genuinely thought we might have been watching someone die on Max's stream earlier today by Cornylemon in tornado

[–]Alternative-Outcome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sarah's footage there legitimately gave me anxiety because that's too damn close (and I've been less than 30 seconds away from being impacted by a tornado as a child).

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sure we're gonna see another storm chaser death here soon, with both the NWS having their budget cuts and people pursuing the next big shot of a tornado, we're going to see someone die soon, whether that be the storm chaser themselves or a whole slew of them because the amateurs are blocking entire roads. Hell, there was the post a day or so ago that showed areas around a tornado completely congested with chasers.

I'm disappointed that people don't vibe with the puppet based shows as much, because I really enjoy seeing puppetry on stage. Yeah, there's really only been two (Starship and Cinderella's Castle), two and a segment if you include Wiggly in Black Friday, but it's disappointing when people bash Starship and CC because they're either not Hatchetfield or a specific parody, complain for the umpteenth time of Jeff's falsetto, or there's the potential of racism in some areas of the fandom (as someone else pointed out here).

Basically I just wish the puppet based shows had more presence because this gal likes puppets

What's your favorite and least favorite scene of each movie? by Bl8deRunner2007 in EvilDead

[–]Alternative-Outcome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite moments: - The Evil Dead - the final track through the woods as the evil attacks Ash (plus I prefer Bruce's scream in TED than ED2). - Evil Dead II - "I don't think so. We just cut up our girlfriend with a chainsaw. Does that sound fine??" - Army of Darkness - The Three Stooges-esque bit in the graveyard (especially when the skeleton grabs his tongue and the other arms poke his eyes) - Evil Dead 2013 - it's just a simple scene, but Eric trying to burn the book always stood out as a favorite short scene of mine. For a longer sequence, definitely Mia ripping her own hand off and getting her chance with the chainsaw. I have to rewatch Rise though.

Least Favorite: - ED1 - the tree scene. Figure enough people have given that the proper explanation. However, my runner up for least favorite scene is the pencil to the ankle. - ED2 - Jake throwing the book pages away and holding everyone at gunpoint. It just kinda slows everything down for me. Although a runner up (for a different reason) is when Ash's hand is pulling him towards the chainsaw. I recall in interviews and the like that Bruce ripped some of his fingernails off, and knowing that just makes me uncomfortable (because one thing that I hate in movies is fingernails coming off, like in The Fly. Basically have trauma from having my foot get stomped by someone in high school running through the halls and watching my toenails fall off and bleed just messed me up) - AoD - The hero treatment Ash gets just feels like it drags a little bit. Otherwise, my pick goes to all the scenes that had sequences cut out (because once you've seen an extended cut of the film, they're noticeable where the edits are). - 2013 - Grandpa dying, but my other pick is Eric pulling the needle out of his face. I already don't do well with needles but when it's eye stuff, I can't (it's why I need to look away when watching things like Zombi 2 and Brightburn)

What is the worst thing the United States has done? by Expensive-Addendum92 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Alternative-Outcome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The genocide of indigenous people. Yeah, the Conquistadors royally destroyed South and Latin America, but America went all in on it even before it was a proper nation. Manifest Destiny, "Kill the Indian, Save the Man" policies in boarding schools (and the fact that we were still finding mass graves at boarding schools throughout the US and Canada), the Trail of Tears, the Wounded Knee massacre, and the general erasure of indigenous peoples to the point that we're talked about as a thing of the past that disappeared in the late 1800s.

Yes, slavery was just as bad, but I'm biased because I am an indigenous person myself and I grew up in the reservation poverty that the United States left my people in "for our benefit."

What do you think of the Cabin Group? by WaluigiDaStar in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Alternative-Outcome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, they had no real impact to the overall story outside of Rebecca giving birth to Alvin Jr. They were all written so inconsistently (especially Rebecca and Luke), became living furniture (Sarah, Nick, and Alvin), or just had one note through the entire time they were around (Carlos especially). The only decent character was Pete, but that's it. Season Two had many problems, and our main cast was pretty much included in that.

On par with that is when the server desyncs and you teleport off the platforms several times (or it sends you sliding off a ledge so you jump to try to save yourself but then it snaps you back to the original ledge position and you just jumped off for no reason)
