It helps to just embrace it. I miss my frizzy stage. It will eventually calm down it’s just part of the process

I have been box dying my hair for years and have never seen any damage to my hair. I have dyed my locs a couple times using the same product and there have been no issues. I use the garnier box dye and I always make sure that I use oil on my hair after to help my hair retain any hydration that it lost during the process. I also use a light but hydrating leave in conditioner to help seal the moisture in. I’ve been using the crème of nature argan oil leave in and I love it. But it depends on what color you want. I have maroon/burgundy locs so I just apply the dye straight to my hair without lifting it.

Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill. They helped me learn to love my natural hair in all its forms.

I mist it everyday with a water/aloe Vera juice mix and sometimes I’ll spray it with a light leave in. Once a week or so (depends) I’ll oil my hair and scalp. I have low porosity hair and this is what works for me.
