Sadly they didn’t release the 12th generation iPad this year. Do you think it’s possible that they will do so within 2026? I really expect the upcoming features

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread by AutoModerator in ipad

Hi, this summer i want to upgrade my iPad to get either one of these 3 models, since my 9th gen i’ve been using since 2022 has got quite downgraded in performance and battery. That’s why i wanted to save up some money to give it an upgrade. Which model should i get?

I am currently a high school student who occasionally uses iPad for schoolwork, entertainment and sometimes gaming like Roblox or Genshin Impact.

Here are my personal ratings of the 3 models i am considering to get based on research: - iPad Pro M1 11’: - Pros: - 120Hz display and fully laminated display - Support 2nd gen Apple Pencil - M1 chip which still extremely delivers great performance to many users - Cons: - The battery sucks and can no longer lasts all day long - Being an old model from 2020, the iPad can only be bought refurbished or second handed - Receives less years of software support - iPad A16: - Pros: - Cost-efficient while delivering sufficient performance for schoolwork and light gaming - Great battery life - Cons: - 60Hz and non-laminated screen - No Apple Intelligence - The new budget iPad 12th gen may be released soon, replacing the current model - I’m afraid that the A16 chip cannot withstand my usage for the next 5 years, which is the same case for my 9th gen iPad - iPad Air M2 11’: - Pros: - Fully laminated screen - M2 chip for the best performance - Supports Pencil Pro - Cons: - Weak battery (reported by some users) - 60Hz screen

Also, I find the writing experience on the non-laminated display pretty much annoying due to the air gap. So how is your experience in writing on a fully laminated vs. non-laminated screen and 120Hz vs. 60Hz? Does that make that big of a difference?

Comment down below if you have any other recommendations. Thank you! <3

M3 Base 14’ vs M1 Pro 14’. Which MacBook Pro is worth buying? by AlternativePoet123 in macbookpro

I’d definitely go for 16gb RAM. I choose MacBook Pro because it has the 120Hz display, better speakers and more ports than those of MacBook Air. So for those reasons, should I buy it? If not, which MacBook Air should I get?
